Back to the Boutique

My husband, Blake and I welcomed our son in July of 2017--and what a whirlwind it's been! our lansing alayne location in Clemson was cleared out by the men of my family the day after we got home from the hospital, and while I had every intention of doing an overhaul of the website and keeping up with all things lansing alayne soon after Beckett's birth, here we are, 9 months later! (where in the world does time go?!)

Our little boutique and the business I created is looking much different these days, and that's ok! Good things are happening and change can be exciting. The balancing act between business and motherhood has been far from perfected by me, but I am so thankful the Lord has given me these opportunities and I hope that you will stick with me as I try to figure this thing out.

I hope to use this blog to keep in touch with my beloved customers--I so miss the chats in the store with you sweet ladies! I am working on content for both the blog and our instagram (long gone are the days of photographing, editing, and writing on a whim...I've got a child to keep alive).

A quick update on the Dicksons: Blake and I moved (much closer to our families and Blake's work) about a month before Beckett was born and we closed our Clemson location. Beckett is a dream! He's the sweetest little cuddler, is so happy, and we are obsessed with him. Blake is the best dad in the world. I knew he'd be wonderful, but MAN, my heart! We have been in a constant state of renovation/living in chaos since I was about 6 months pregnant, and we still aren't quite done. It's definitely gratifying every project we are able to mark off our list!

As for lansing alayne, I am so very grateful for the friends and family who have supported this sweet boutique for the past 5 years (what?!)! I have some ideas for some fun new offerings, so stay tuned as I dust off our @shoplansingalayne instagram account and get back to it!

Thank you, thank you for your love and support - it means the world!

xo,

lansing
